My client is a US based business designing, marketing and manufacturing Non Toxic & Environmentally friendly Cleaning & Personal Care products to the Grocery & DIY retail sectors. Having had phenomenal growth and success in the USA, they have engaged an international expansion strategy to build a truly global business and to capitalise on the growth opportunity within the environmentally friendly marketplace.
Building on it's astonishing market growth they are now looking to take advantage and are preparing for the next stage of its growth to keep the successes happening and to make the products part of everyone's home in the UK & Europe.
As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the direction, strategy and tactical co-ordination of all Supply Chain and Logistics activities related to:
• Retail relationships(vendor relations, availability, OTIF, NPD)
• Vendor management (liaising with suppliers, ensuring production capability, OTIF deliveries, flexibility)
• Demand Planning & Supply Planning (as you will be the interface with the customers you will have the best and most up-to-date information to pass to suppliers and the commercial teams regarding availability.)
• Supply Chain Strategy - strategic decision making ensuring the supply chain structure and infrastructure is best placed to support and drive the business forward.
The inevitable driving factors of this business are to create a Cost efficient, highly flexible, brand lead Supply Chain.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate must be a proven Supply Chain professional with a track record in driving successful outcomes with major retailers and brands. You must have an over-riding desire to succeed and the skills to drive improvements and changes across a manufacturing, rapidly changing supply chain.
