Our client's Commercial team is dedicated exclusively to commercial work, offering clients tailored and timely advice that is unique amongst their competitors. Our client's Commercial team specialises in commercial contractual and advisory matters across a broad spectrum, with a particular focus on high value outsourcing, procurement and services contracts. They also advise on consumer protection; advertising and marketing; sponsorship; privacy and ecommerce; and technology transfer matters. The Commercial team sits alongside their IT team which is one of the largest and most successful practices in the UK.
The team is now looking for a talented PSL to support the practice.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will come from a firm with a reputable UK Commercial practice. (S)he will possess excellent academic credentials (ideally not less than a 2:1 undergraduate degree), be a good communicator both orally and in writing, and be able to demonstrate initiative and pro-activity. The successful candidate must have an interest in, and a genuine desire to act as a support lawyer in respect of, pure commercial work, as described below. Ideally, the candidate will have had prior experience as a PSL and as a fee earner, in a commercial practice. Some practical experience (either as a fee earner or a support lawyer) of typical issues of IP and competition law would also be of benefit.
