Reporting to the General Manager the Contract Manager will be responsible for the transport operation for 2 sites in the East Midlands. You will have full accountability for this closed bookcontract and will need to develop the relationship through the establishment of good working practices, leading initiatives for continuous improvement, and ensuring contractual obligations are met. You will:
• Have full operational responsibility for both sites.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, reduce costs, and improve profit margins.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer and employee relations.
• Have responsibility for a £13m budget.

Who we're looking for
Possessing a CPC and ideally degree qualified or of graduate calibre you will have a working knowledge of:
• Transport management planning & scheduling.
• Similarly large transport operations.
• Mechanical off loading operations (HIAB).
• Cost reduction initiatives.
• Managing closed book contracts.
