An excellent entry level opportunity to join the Euro Commercial Paper (ECP) Issuance desk which is responsible for facilitating new issues of debt from existing programmes held by the Agency and Trust business. The group is responsible for processing new deals through transaction with the Issuers, Lead Managers, Clearing banks, lawyers and Front Office Sales and Documentation group. The Issuance team aim to ensure that the 28% market share of the ECP debt Market is maintained through high service levels and standards.


Job Background/context:

The ECP Issuance desk is a high profile group within the Agency and Trust business with high exposure and contact in areas internally and externally. It involves a high volume environment where attention to detail is vital and where processes are highly deadline orientated. The Issuance group is a made of 4 team members who are responsible for ensuring that all new deals are created, reviewed, settled and documented in all relevant internal and external systems. The group also has the responsibility of ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining Fax Log/Telex Log.
Allocate New ISINs for ECP New Issues in EPIM system
Confirm New Issues with Dealers and Issuers
Input of Issuance instruction on both internal and external systems.
Reflect operational systems in accordance with details of documentation reviewed
Settlement and funding of New Issues in Euroclear and Clearstream
Liaising with Front Office Sales and Documentation group with any Client issues
Dealing with any client and in house queries
Involvement in any new system testing
Ensure service levels are maintained with any new or existing queries and requests

Who we're looking for
Experience in dealing with Euroclear and Clearstream beneficial.
Exposure to clients.

Skills:
Dynamic candidate with good communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel and Access
Accuracy and diligence essential.


Qualifications:
Minimum A-Levels with banking experience preferred
