Direct Marketing Manager

You will be responsible for all the Direct Marketing activities in order to deliver sales growth within the direct channel.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE
• Propose and develop integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness, trial and rates of sale, and repeat purchase in the direct channels of the business (internet & phones)
• Develop, with the Marketing Director and Internet Director, recruitment and retention strategies and plans. Drive the implementation of these plans.
• Complete ownership and management of catalogue process - coordinating content, layout, structure, and design, analysis and evaluation.
• Complete ownership of direct response advertising - briefing, coordinating content, layout, structure, and design, analysis and evaluation.
• Management and development of specific initiatives in order to drive the growth of the sales direct channels.
• Accountable for buying direct mail, including developing relationships with printers, external postal and mailing suppliers.
• Co-ordinate all stages of e-shot campaigns including developing a plan, management of external copywriting resources and analysis of results.
• Develop the strategy for Maximuscle's loyalty programme and implement the 12 month plan.
Who we're looking for
You will have a strong background within a DM environment and will be able to demonstrate your experience in direct mail and direct response advertising / catalogues, as this is essential. In addition, web marketing & copywriting would be an advantage, but a strong commercial head will definitely be needed.
