Overview: Manage a team of advisers who provide holistic wealth management solutions to High Net Worth customers resident in worldwide locations. Drive performance of individuals and sales through coaching and implementation of the group's strategy. In addition,in this role, you will establish a 'training academy' that will create a supply of trained advisors for overseas postings.
Principal accountabilities include:
• Activity and sales performance management
• Implementation of the International Wealth Management strategy.
• Coaching and developing individual team members to achieve their personal objectives
• Achievement of the Area Sales Target
• Demonstrate business awareness and a detailed knowledge of the regulatory environment.
• Managing team to achieve a 'business class' customer service at all times.
• Lead the 'Academy' for the in house training and development of Advisers
• Manage the Para-planning Team of advisers
Newly created for for a Sales Manager to be based in the Channel Islands, working for a tier 1 Financial Services company.
Who we're looking for
Applicants should possess knowledge of current regulatory technical and product criteria, as appropriate, knowledge of sales management techniques and financial planning process. FPC (minimum) and Competent Adviser and Supervisor status.
Experience/Skills required:
• Extensive experience in the financial services industry.
• Extensive experience in sales management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Detailed knowledge of the regulatory environment and industry legislation.
• FPC or equivalent such as CIFA, CFP, CFA, IMC, IAC is essential and Competent Adviser status.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Well developed coaching skills
• Strong attention to detail.
