As Manufacturing Engineering Manager you will lead all manufacturing engineering for a leading Midlands-based Automotive manufacturer.

Reporting to Manufacturing Director, you will assume responsibility for all manufacturing engineering activities across the facility.
• You will drive a Continuous Improvement / Lean ethos throughout the engineering functions.
• Supporting other department heads as required.
• Ascertain and drive synergies across plants where applicable, and to also be pivotal in promoting and adhering to TPM activities.
• You will demonstrate and encourage strong team dynamics to ensure 'lessons-learned' opportunities are seized at all times.

Who we're looking for
• Of degree calibre, you will have;
• Exceptionally strong team-management skills.
• Demonstrate atrack record of manufacturing engineering leadership.
• It is essential that you will have experienced operations in an assembly manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Lean & TPM would be a distinct advantage.
