As Logistics Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic distribution direction of the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role includes full operational and p&l responsibility of multisite warehousing; outsourced transport management and shipping/ freight network modelling.
Key responsibilities will include setting and maintaining standards of operational performance, continuous improvement best practice review, as well asleading and motivating the team to sustain a first class logistics process.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have designed, and implemented a strategic review across an FMCG/ Retaildistribution environment, within a remit to cut cost and implement change. From either a retail, or 3pl background, the individual needs to be able to demonstrate a proven track record in warehousing and distribution, working to tight deadlines in a highly competitive environment.
