As a Finance Manager in Thame, Oxfordshire, you will be responsible for driving through and maintaining financial reporting disciplines in a commercial setting. You will be working closely with commercial teams and heads of departments and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Managing and leading a small finance team and driving transformational change initiatives in order to introduce an improved control environment
• Trade Accounts Receivables, payables and general Financial Accounting and preparing VAT statements.
• Providing detailed performance analysis to the heads of departments and commercial teams.
Who we're looking for
For this Finance Manager role, we're looking for a Qualified/Qualified by experience candidate with hands on experience of developing and working with SAP. You will have the ability to operate P11D to prepare VAT payments. It is important that you have had experience of managing a small finance team and have a proven ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills. It is essential that you have a hands-on approach to your work and experience of working in a manufacturing/distribution sector. You will preferably have some knowledge of USA SOX requirements.
