In this role you will be providing an effective and efficient Management Accounting function to a number of schools on all research accounting matters. The responsibilities of the role will be divided into two distinct areas. Firstly , you will have responsibility for the costing of research and other projects and the provision of financial information and advice throughout the application process. Secondly, you will have overall responsibility for the financial management and accounting of all research projects from the acceptance of the award through to the receipt of final monies and closure. In addition to this you will be required to supervise and train one of the research accounts assistants.

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a qualified or part qualified accountant with good exposure to all areas of research accounting. A good knowledge of integrated finance systems and excellent interpersonal skills are needed for this role. Evidence ofyour ability to work under pressure whilst unsupervised is also a must.
