Role description
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be working with both operational and corporate service centre managers and staff. Your role is to ensure effective implementation, delivery and performance of a portfolio of contracts. You will be required to use contract management best practice to achieve effective contract delivery, maximum contract performance and value for money across the portfolio.
You will provide professional advice, support and guidance as and when required on commercial contract management looking to build key relationships with a wide range of staff from across the organisation whilst providing a proactive and responsive customer service.
Who we're looking for
Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards it, you will havea backgroundof working in a similar capacity within a procurement procurement.You will possess the following:
Service-based contract management& abackgroundof negotiating contracts for goods and services
Good understandingof EU/UK regulations
Strong all round business / commercial acumen, well developed negotiation skills and able to deliver results under pressure
First class influencing skills and a real team player with a strong focus on results and delivery
Excellent interpersonal, listening and written communication skills. Ability to work co-operatively and strategically in a team environment and able to influence business decisions at all levels of seniority
Strong analytical skills and able to develop pragmatic solutions
Positive attitude and self-motivated, with effective organisational skills
