Project Director

Iconic London Building

Central London

You will be responsible for the delivery of a major addition to the London skyline managing the timely delivery of this iconic building.
Responsibilities for this role will include;
• Implementing all aspects of the design and construction process
• Leading the Project team in the delivery of the construction process from concept to completion
• Provide regular contact and updates to board members
• Overseeing and liaising with the chosen contractor to manage the cost and procurement aspects of the developments.
• Managing the project programme to deliver construction phases on time.
• Responsible for project close out
• Ensure that the contractor satisfies all relevant statutory requirements and site HSE is applied and maintained at all times

Who we're looking for
You will have experience of managing and a proven track record of delivering large value, complex, high rise, mixed use developments either in the UK or abroad. You will have a thorough understanding of the space implications of working in Central London and the interface associated with LUL involved projects.
Skills/Person Specification required
•A proven track record of managing the delivery of high value, high specification, complex projects.
• Capable of understanding project requirements and managing the process to completion.
• Experience of reporting updates to board members on a formal and informal basis.
• Confident decision maker with the ability to steer the process and make decisions that are paramount to the successful delivery of the projects.
• Proven Management experience<BR>• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Proven Problem Solving skills
• Ideally evidence of working in a multi cultural environment
