You will be tasked with managing major projects ensuring that customers' contractual requirements and expectations are achieved or bettered and that the projects are delivered in line with the company parameters.
The initial projects are delivering site based services, managing the installation and testing of customer communication networks. Key responsibilities include:
• Maintenance, distribution and adherence to project plan - managing a team of site based installation and survey engineers, project admin staff and contractors.
• Overall safety, quality and environmental aspects of the project.
• Overseeing all project deliverables, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of product and service to ensure precise customer schedules and KPI targets are achieved.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be:
• A skilledProject Manager withexperience in a telecoms, rail or similar environment
• Degree educated in a relevant discipline and competent in the use of formal project management techniques
• Customer focussed with excellent team leadership skills coupled with a sound level of commercial acumen including good knowledge of P&L management, costing, budgeting, quote& bid experience and good negotiating and influencing skills.
• Aware of and already implementing current H&S regulations and related procedures.
