My client is a truly international and world renowned organisation with an extremely multi cultural composition. They are involved in private sector investment and have a£50 million budget for IT alone and a very healthy staff base in Washington D.C. They are currently looking for a Chief Information Security Officer to join them in Washington D.C.
You will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of the body's information security program as well as for protecting their assets against vulnerabilities associated with confidentiality, integrity, and availability.Additionally you will be charged with devising, designing and implementing the Information Security strategy plans and architecture in line with business requirements.
Who we're looking for
Candidates who are serious and committed to relocating to the USA.
An Advanced degree and a successful track record with relevance to this position.
Knowledge of trends and developments in the area of information security
Knowledge & Experience of risk management
Knowledge of information security audit guidelines and control frameworks
An understanding and experience within IT Services Management
A professional certification such as CISM, CISSP or CISA is preferred.
Knowledge of best practices and standards for monitoring and reporting in formation security performance.
Knowledge of security control for network, database, application & operating systems.
Experience with establishing and managing RFP's. contracts, and vendors.
