For an excellent generalist, there is now a coveted opportunity to join this market leading business whichhas experienced continued dominance and prosperity.We now require aSenior HR Advisor who will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of the site. Your broad remit will look after the following:
• Act as the primary point of contact for the workforce within your designated area of business
• Dealing with unions effectivelyon a variety of issues
• Handling of complex disciplinaries and grievances from start to finish which must be dealt with in a professional manner and to all internal and external regulations
• Aiding senior HR membersboth set and implement HR policies including recruitment strategy and performance management initiatives while also pro-actively tackling historicsector issues with innovative ideas
• Project based work as required on topics such as absence reduction, performance management and work satisfaction analysis
• Supporting the training function to ensure staff remain at the exceptional standard the business commands
• Assisting with TUPE and similar procedures
• Promoting the 'value add' factors that HR can impact on wider success
Who we're looking for
It is essential that you are an excellent communicator and confident character who can interact and bond with colleagues of all levels. You will have a superb generalist understandingwith a good grasp of employee relations and the solutions to issues that arise in unionised environments being very useful.
