Estates Surveyor

As an Estates Surveyor you will be based in Middlesex 2 - 3 times a week with UK travel within a specified geographical area for the remainder. Reporting into the Estates Manager and working along sideother2 Estates Surveyors you will operate as the day to day interface between the Estate Management, Landlord and other property professionals.
Main Duties will include;
• Rent reviews and lease renewals
• Examining and interpretation of leases
• Inspecting and measuring premises
• Ensure the accurate collection of rental evidence and negotiate settlements
• Preparation and presentations of third party hearings
• Property Management
• Operate with the Maintenance Department to ensure all repair works schedules are correctly processed.
• To provide support to other departments as necessary.
• To assist in the maintenance of accurate records /information.
• To assist with the preparation of department reports.
• To maintain proper working relationship with landlords/agents
• To assist the Insurance/Service Charge Administrator in contesting unjustified invoices.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified or on route to achieving their full membership, in addition to a successful track record in client side Estate Management within the retail sector. What will standout to our client most is your excellent track record in rent reviews and lease negotiations. You will have communication skills second to none and be a keen negotiator. As an expert in your field you will have a good understanding of property law, and a full UK driving licence.
