• Identify and generate selling opportunities by developing relationships with the account decision makers.
• Prepare for conducting sales and sales presentations to ensure the meeting is organised to achieve the best opportunities for both the account and company.
• Create a positive relationship with the account to ensure long-term sales.
• Investigate and establish account needs and interests to ensure that the sales pitch is targeted correctly.
• Obtain commitment for sales from the account and handle objections to ensure orders are taken in accordance with terms to suit the account and the company.
• Plan and organise personal work schedule to ensure selling time is maximised within the area.
Who we're looking for
Experience in aconsumer product field sales role, preferably within the children's or craft markets.
Will have a sound track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Will have had sound experience and show evidence of both managing established accounts and also breaking and developing new retail accounts.
Will have been exposed to a structured and disciplined approach to call and journey management.
