Marketing Manager

• To manage the marketing communications function including PR, advertising, partner, web, events, direct marketing & collateral
• To manage the Marketing Executive & Marketing Assistant
• To act as brand guardian - ensuring consistency of identity and messages across all media.
• To manage (via the Assistant) the A&P budget.
• To analyse market data and response rates to all activity
• To manage agency relationships: advertising, web, DM & events
• To coordinate media plans (media is bought by an agency)
• To manage the development of creative campaigns via our creative lead agency and to work with them to ensure integration of creative across all media
o Stationery, merchandise, clothing, events display
• Provision of a press office function
o Write Wider Horizons quarterly
o Development of articles, case studies, backgrounders, press releases and other library materials.
o Sourcing of photography (via agency) and management of the PR photographic library.
o Management of reviews, handovers, visits and other PR events.
o Seek positive coverage in target media
o Speaker programme
• To manage via the Executive a year-round calendar of events including display materials
• To manage the company website programme
• To lead the promotional calendar of telemarketing campaigns working with the Telemarketing Team Leader and provide any materials needed
o To write all customer facing letter templates
o To write any DM copy
• Development and management of a calendar of consumer promotions including collaborations with charities etc
• Monthly reports
• Observe all relevant Health & Safety procedures

Who we're looking for
Experienced marketing professional with minimum 5 years experience ideally including consumer and BTB exposure.
Graduate
Marketing qualification.
Strong interpersonal and presentational skills.
Agency management experience.
Team leadership experience.
Autonomous, works unsupervised and can initiate improvements & creative ideas towards best practice standards.
