As Global Development Manager you will be proactively seeking out new business opportunities at board level with international businesses. My client offers solutions such as supply chain management, freight forwarding, customs compliance, to name but a few. Their services offer a value added cost saving solutions to clients on an international basis.
Leads will be generated by an internal sales function, your role will be to be the face of the organisation in the corporate marketplace. However the Global development Manager should also be generating their own leads via industry networking. Once accounts have been won they will be passed over to an implementation team for long term account management.
Who we're looking for
You must have:
• a proven track record of business-to-business new business development within a corporate environment
• ideally of selling 3rd Party Logistics solutions
• excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to professionally negotiate face-to-face
• you must be driven by success, with great organisational skills, a lead hunter with fantastic conversion ability
