Reporting to the LEP Board, based in Leeds, you will need to be able to support the LEP General Manager in the establishment of the business of the Leeds Local Education Partnership. The role will manage the activities of the LEP supply chain of designers, construction partners and other supply chain professionals to achieve Stage 1 and Stage 2 Project Approvals under BSF (Building Schools for the Future). You will be required to successfully negotiate and manage the contract close process for new projects through to financial close and contract signature.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience of PFI/PPP environments essential.
• A bid management or commercial background.
• Experience of closing major PFI (Private Finance Initiative) projects.
• Knowledge of the public sector in terms of major project development.
• A track record of coordinating diverse teams of professionals to deliver education projects that meet schools and Local Authority requirements.

What's on offer
Basic salary £55,000 - £65,000 plus car allowance (with fuel card), private health care, pension and a 10% bonus.
