As Senior Manager of the Insolvency department in this Scottish Accountancy Practice you will have the opportunity to take an entrepreneurial approach to your business. Reporting into the partner, you will be self motivated, a leader and enjoy facing up to new challenges.
As Insolvency Senior Manager, you will be in charge of bringing new administrators into the business as the departments portfolio of clients grow. You will have your own portfolio of clients to take charge of and develop through the insolvency process, as well as delegate clients to your administrators, and carry out regular reviews of their reports.

Who we're looking for
This is a chance to make your name known. You must be passionate, pro-active and motivated in your approach not only to your job, but also to the industry. You will need to have an exceptionally high standard of communication skills, and a well developed management technique.
To be successful in this role it would be advantageous for you to have qualified in CPI or JIEB, as well as have exposure to this level of management previously within the Insolvency Market. You will be able to interact professionally with clients, and show empathy and understanding to their needs. You must be fully aware of the new legislation and be able to carry out cases from opening to closure in a confident manner. To be the successful candidate in this role you should have a full comprehension of both personal and corporate insolvency's.
As Senior Manager it is imperative you are able to lead a new team to success through training and development of each individual. You will report to the Partner, who may not always be based from Glasgow, so you must be able to think on your feet, comprehend and manage difficult situations. You are thebrain of the operation and success is entirely dependable on your ability to achieve. Creating procedures and compliance for your department is crucial to the new operation moving forward.
