Logistics Development Analyst

• Utilising our chosen WMS package, design minimal changes to the base product whilst ensuring that clear operational requirements are accounted for ? process change before system change where practical.
• Ensure standard design of system and working processes in like for like operations.
• Rationalise the report requirements through the system & B.I (Business Intelligence) to meet actual business needs: operational & KPI's.
• Act as a 'subject matter expert' to determine the feasibility of best practice across Logistics.
• Ensure that each process carries full Visibility, Audit ability, Traceability & Integrity from receipt to delivery at store.
• Plan & prepare user acceptance tests via thorough End to End test scripts.
• Design & prepare effective training materials & company procedures.
• Work closely with 'I.T' to ensure that all requirements and responsibility are clearly defined & actioned.
• Prepare & support each implementation, effectively assessing go-live capability readiness.
• Report on training progress, issues, risks & dependencies.
• Recruitment and Support of the Process & Implementation teams for training & roll out.
• Develop post implementation evaluation criteria, to highlight key learnings & necessary changes required going forward, including sign off from senior site management, also providing measured feedback to celebrate success.
• Manage in conjunction with I.T the road map & upgrade of the WMS.
• Understand and present the system mechanics & physical process requirements to targeted groups.
• Responsible for team development ensuring an effective team of subject matter experts to support the Logistics business going forward.
• Be aware of Strategic Business Objectives.
• As systems & processes evolve, implementation of engineered standards forming part of Logistics KPI's.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a can do attitude, be innovative with new ideas and a strong team player, in line with company ethos.
You will have a background in Logistics system analysis and development particularly in WMS systems and logistics networks.
