Business intelligence group lawyer

Our client is looking for a UK qualified lawyer to provide support principally to the firm's private wealth management division run out of London, although the role would also cover other business areas as required. The role and the work of the group is at the cutting edge of the development of business intelligence in the financial sector and involves daily work with matters of a highly confidential nature.
The role will also include conducting reputational due diligence and assisting legal, compliance and business colleagues to conduct and review aspects of legal and regulatory due diligence, covering matters such as source of wealth, verification of beneficial ownership, environmental and social responsibility matters, links to organised crime, litigation risk, regulatory compliance history, financial irregularities.

Who we're looking for
Solicitor with strong exposure to contentious and/or regulatory matters, e.g. litigation, law enforcement, the regulation of markets and financial institutions, anti-money laundering, anti-fraud, anti-corruption
