This key role offers the opportunity for an Engineering Manager to instil a more cohesive and collaborative approach between R&D, manufacturing and quality functions to successfully deliver products to market.
You will lead the three functions to ensure quality and manufacturability are considered at every stage of the design process and create a more efficient life cycle.
Managing the move to 2 site production and effectively managing a multi-discipline team you will challenge the established manufacturing processes to enhance the existing continuous improvement culture. You will be the driving force behind supporting this medical devices company's continued growth with success being rewarded with a directorship.

Who we're looking for
You will be a proven Engineering manager with excellent man management skills and the ability to challenge the team from a technical perspective. Your skill set should include:
• Strong technical ability ideally gained within a medical devices or plastics environment.
• Excellent understanding of the commercial aspects of project management.
• Examples of where products have been successfully delivered on time and to budget.
• Proven track record of managing multi-discipline teams.
•The ability to challenge current methods to drive and support a continuous improvement culture.
• Degree qualified within an engineering discipline.
