SAS Developer

 Manage MI Developers to provide timely and accurate regular and adhoc reporting on the business to various customers throughout the business, and external parties

 Meet with customers
• Understand their requirements and challenge as appropriate
• Analyse what information is available and gather appropriate information
• Negotiate appropriate deadlines
• Estimate development required

 Use SAS tools and Microsoft applications to develop, or manage development, of reporting to required specification ensuring efficient, controlled, tested and documented processes
 Ensure that the MI reporting provides the customers with suitable information to make informed decisions, and understand the performance of the portfolios

 Represent MI on Business and Group projects and key strategic initiatives to consider impact on:
• Data accuracy and veracity
• Accuracy of system functions
• Delivery of timely and accurate reporting to the business
• Highlight and act on project issues

Examples of the types of projects and initiatives are:
• Product Launches
• Basel II
• Funding Initiatives
• Sale or Acquisition of portfolios
• System Migrations

Who we're looking for
 Advanced SAS Programming knowledge, minimum 3 years experience of using SAS in an analytical role

 Good interpersonal and communication skills

 Articulate and numerate

 Good knowledge of Excel

 Good understanding of the key business drivers for a Mortgage Lender
