Head of Operations

Print / FMCG

North West

Permanent

Updated November 12, 2008

Having been in operation for two years the Prinovis plant in Liverpool is now running at close to full capacity. The Head of Operations will be responsible for the definition and execution of a strategic plan aimed at delivering world class levels of performance. As the operational leader within the facility, you will coach and mentor your team to achieve their full potential whilst driving a cultural change programme focussed on team building and business excellence. You will be the figurehead for the site, as such you will represent the company in a professional manner internally and externally and have significant dealings with customers and suppliers.

Who we're looking for
You will be an operational leader with significant exposure to the printing or high volume FMCG sector. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong competence in technically challenging environments. You will be a natural leader with a strong people-focussed value set and a track record of developing high performance teams. This is a business with demanding and exacting deadlines and very high profile customers; both these facts are reflected in the high levels of professionalism within the executive team. Given the dynamic nature of the business we are open to candidates with mixed levels of expertise from Manufacturing Manager through to existing Operations Director. The key values we are seeking are leadership, energy and determination.
