The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate all marketing activity within the company to maximise exposure to their core markets.
Main Accountabilities
• Plan and organise all aspects of our exhibition and conference programme and attend certain events as and when required.
• Liaise with all departments and outside agencies to produce all necessary literature in paper and electronic formats.
• Co-ordinate resources to ensure website development continues and sites are maintained and up to date at all times.
• Co-ordinate development of existing customer database to provide useful marketing tool for direct marketing.
• Carry out direct marketing activity by email and hard copy as and when planned.
• Co-ordinate press and media enquiries, assess suitability and write suitable copy. Work with outside PR Agencies as required. Field all calls regarding advertising and deal with appropriately.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure necessary product information is up to date and maintained for use by sales team and on website.
• Maintain and develop marketing database on company server as shared resource.

In order to carry out this role effectively you will have a track record of working with internal and outside agencies to achieve objectives. You will be used to working within a team environment but also able to work alone and to deadlines. The successful candidate will have effective oral and written communications skills along with a positive outlook and a 'can-do' attitude.
It is essential that you are fully computer literate including use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of Graphic Design would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. The company is also interested to speak to candidates who are able to demonstrate an understanding of commercial interiors or the assistive technology marketplace.
