Due to continued double digit organic growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join an expanding department. Reporting to the Director of UK Accounting, you will have full financial control responsibility and supported by a team of accountants.

Fundamental to this role is the ability to work effectively with business unit directors, from MD to Operating Director.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provision of detailed Profit & Loss reports for multiple profit centres, detailed analysis and review of all costs, full balance sheet responsibility. Preparation of monthly KPI's plus all additional reporting and analysis. Dealing with all Director and Manager accounting queries. Provision of cost commentary and tax analysis for Group Central Accounting.
• Extensive ad hoc reporting, including analysis for external clients and the preparation of data for client pitches / RFI's. Working with the front end sales staff to understand their needs and add value.
• Quarterly forecasting at Discipline level to enable Group updates to the financial markets, including re-forecasting of revenue, costs and capital expenditure.
• Detailed annual budgeting, including individual budgets for each Profit Centre with revenue budgets to an individual level. Working with MD's and Directors throughout the review process for final Group Board submission.
• Formal appraisal, training and development of direct reports.

Who we're looking for
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA,ACCA,ACA).
• Strong management accounting skills to provide accurate and timely reports.
• Ability to deal with large volumes of information requests; to prioritise and delegate where appropriate.
• Experience of managing people; ability to motivate, coach and train staff.
• Excellent PC skills; high level of competence using spreadsheet applications.
• Motivated to add value to the Operating business.
• Clear communicator with a proven track record of, or an ability to demonstrate capability, to influence decisions with senior management.
• Personal fit with the Company's culture; passionate, driven by quality and achieving results, high level of integrity, team player.
