You will assist the partner in the Employment department with a range of contentious and non contentious.
In essence the work will comprise the whole range of employment law services from contract and policy drafting, general HR advice to termination/ compromise agreements. Employment Tribunals and County/ High Court employment claims and injunctions.
You will also be required to assist with :

• Corporate and Real Estate support on the employment aspects of transactions.

• Advocacy in employment tribunals and presentation at seminars.
The role will be a mix of supporting the Partner in his case load and working autonomously (with support) on other matters.

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a newly qualified solicitor or a recently qualified solicitor that is passionate about employment law and who can be aggressive where necessary in the litigious environment. Business sense and awareness are crucial as is an ability to think laterally. The individual must be organised and have an ability to relate to business people at all levels and work as part of a team both within the firm and alongside clients.

As the employment department is still growing it is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is motivated and has a desire to work with the Partner to increase its strength and depth. They should be approachable, interested in networking and forging relationships.
You must have a driving licence and be willing to relocate to the Oxfordshire or reasonable commutable area.
