As Property & Facilities Director, you will be responsible for the provision and management of space and related services and infrastructure to support our clients group business operations. You will be based from our clients London office.
Responsibilities include:
• Leadership of the groupsProperty and Facilities Management team.
• Strategic planning for UK estate.
• All property related activities , including management of all property related assets, liabilities and risks, transactions (acquisitions and disposals), lease management (rent reviews, consents, dilapidations), facilities management/on site services and procurement of all utilities.
• All construction and fit out programmes and projects.
• Health and Safety including strategy and statutory compliance.
• Development and execution of our property related Environmental Strategy (CSR).
• Budget holder for all property related Revenue/Capex expenditure.
• Member of Business Continuity Board
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should posses experience in the following:
• Estate management - lease acquisition / renewal / disposal
• Facility supply chain management - review of value and service level agreements, tenders, and management of outsourcedservice providers
• Strong knowledge of environmental issues and health + safety compliance.
• People management and development - recognised people leader for both property and facility staff.
• Commercial - needs excellent performance in areas of negotiation, budgeting, cost management andreporting .
• Must have professional services property experience - this is essential.
• Innovation - demonstrable experience in areas of improving office utilisationand real delivery of change in working practices.
• Engagement - ability to engage with senior business professionals to understandand anticipate requirements and add to effective solutions.
• The emphasis of skills should be directed more to efficient running, improvement andcontrol of facilities rather than real estate transactions.
