Reporting to CEO on day to day and Group design director on specific initiatives. A team of technical designers based in Essex. A creative design manager (who manages a team of creative's) A role in managing the day to day affairs of this creative team. In addition a R&D workshop supervisor and European design office manager.
Who we're looking for
Expected qualities :
• Ability to match resources to expansion plans.
• Strong leadership skills. Motivate and control a multidisciplined team of designers, engineers and technicians.
• Develop E. European design to a high level and support
• Develop Harlow design team to take ownership of lead projects.
• Ensure products are designed using Value engineering principles and meet Health & safety and customer requirements I.e fit for purpose.
• Develop design structure to target key store areas e.g. bakery, health & Beauty etc.,
• Set and manage design budget in line with sales budgets.
• Develop the best development team in the Industry.
• Responsive and Proactive attitude to customer needs.
• Dynamic and strategic vision for future developments.
• Energetic approach to challenging industry requirements.
