• To support the Area Director in driving sales performance and service management across the Area. This will include providing direction and leadership to the Branch Managers
• Act as Deputy to the Area Director, during periods of absence
• To analyse and interpret all Management Information pertaining to Area performance against targets / trend analysis etc
• To conduct regular and fully effective performance review meetings with Branch Managers including coaching, feedback and observations
• To design and implement an appropriate strategy to deliver against the Area income and service targets and ensure that this is cognizant with the Regional strategy
• To liaise with Regional Performance Manager around national and Regional performance issues
• To drive Campaigns and Trading Periods to ensure maximum opportunity is realised and that targets are exceeded
Who we're looking for
• Knowledge of value based management tools and techniques
• Knowledge of sales and productivity management tools and techniques and how these can be applied to leverage significant performance improvement
• An ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Proven ability in delivering results through others across the organisation
• Knowledge of both Retail Network and Business wide initiatives and Projects and a basic understanding of how these will fit together in order to maximise revenue and Business efficiency as well as being able to assess the impact upon the Branch Network
• Knowledge & Application of Training and Coaching tools and techniques
• Knowledge of the Bank's Retail products and services
Previous experience within a quality control or audit environment
Experience of stakeholder management
Strong team player
