Our client based near Cardiffhas seen phenomenal growth over the last 5 years. Due to the consistent growth, this company is constantly looking at their financial systems and how they complement the reporting function that a group of this size requires. You will play a key part in the development, maintenance and upgrade of financial systems including Agresso Financials, Essbase andAdaytum/Comshare. The systems part of the role will also require the individual to develop and maintain a number of key databases held in Microsoft Access.Another key part of the role involves assisting in the preparation of Group management accounts and also been involved in the preparation of Group budgets and forecasts.
This is a well rounded role which will give the individual an opportunity to grow with a highly successful basis.
Who we're looking for
- Part qualified or Qualified accountant
- Excellent analytical capability with a detailed knowledge of both Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel - both of these are essential. A knowledge of SQL is considered advantageous
- Proactive, can-do attitude
- Good commercial judgement
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- An ability to challenge the status quo
- Self starter
- Ability to manage their own workload
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
