Key Responsibilities are:
• Process & Facility engineering for vehicle production and introduction of new projects. This will include:
• Prototype build support/ co-ordination of trial activities
• Production ramp-up Support
• Production readiness support
• Tooling & fixture development/ procurement
• Facility design, specification, installation & commission
• Supplier management activities
• Work within the current engineering environment using ERP systems for change control & introduction.
• Engineering support to vehicle quality, warranty and concerns management.
• Support with Supplier development.
• Support with contributions to continuous improvement activities (Incorporating lean manufacturing principles
into the contract manufacturing environment)
• Support supply chain activities in "make or buy" decisions & supplier evaluations.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to be able to work as a team
Qualifications Required : HNC/HND in Manufacturing/ Mech. Eng'g
Qualifications Preferred : Degree in Manufacturing/ Mech. Eng'g./ Automotive Eng'g.
Experience Required : Good working knowledge of automotive industry
Experience Preferred : Good working knowledge of automotive industry, with experience in new model delivery into production.
