Responsibilities
• Regular contact with Insurance Executives and senior management.
• Proactive management of Sox controls deployed to maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
• Be a subject matter expert on internal controls over financial reporting, supporting business areas in the development, operation and testing of the Sox control framework.
• Meeting group standards and delivering against the Sox calendar.
• Acting as relationship managers with external and internal auditors.
• Provide strategic direction for all Sox matters (industry trends and threat mitigation).
• Provide 2nd line of defence for Sox across .
Who we're looking for
Skills, Experience & knowledge required:-
• You must be a experienced Qualified accountant.
• Sox/risk management and insurance industry experience is essential.
• Proven track record in a project environment.
• Demonstrable ability to manage own workload and work with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to be enquiring & challenging whilst developing and building relationships.
• Good knowledge of Group financial processes
