As the Procurement specialist you will:
•Work on a variety of procurement projects, from initial spend analysis through to completion.
•You role will cover a variety of scopes and dependent on the size of objective/ project you may be report to a category manager or if asmaller project you may work more autonomously.

Who we're looking for
The Ideal candidate will be:
• Educated to degree calibre in a related field
• CIPS Qualified
•A strong Procurement grounding within a global company (ideally in financial services sector)
• It is important you come from a Direct and indirect function, having led some of these negotiations (even if at lower level of spend) - having participated in the negotiation of complex categories following procurement best practices is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience in development of tender documentation, spend analysis, proposal analysis, development of reports / recommendations, dealing directly with suppliers during tenders
• Good understanding of processes (procurement, supply chain and exposure to a variety of other business processes)
• Proven experience in delivering services to clients / internal clients requiring excellent analytical skills, ability to identify issues and solutions, make recommendations and persuade client of these recommendations
• Ideally, experience in electronic auctions and knowledge of e-sourcing and e-auction tools.
