Reporting to an entrepreneurial Managing Director and as a key member of the leadership team you will:
• Provide commercial financial support to all decisions made by the Managing Director and the management team
• Provide deal support information whilst continuing to develop existing relationships with banking institutions, corporate finance advisors, private equity businesses and the auditors
• Contribute commercial and bottom-line advice to a fast-paced, dynamic leadership team
• Continue the focus on efficiency of processes and systems throughout the finance function to enable time spent on value-adding activities.
• Manage and contribute to the production of accurate management, financial and taxation reporting to tight deadlines.
Who we're looking for
This exciting commercial opportunity is likely to attract a driven Financial Director with recent experience of leading the financial elements of a variety of acquisitions - ideally gained within a small but high-growth business. You should be accustomed to running a small internal financial function whilst managing the fluctuating external demands for information of a growth focussed business.
Style and team fit are also hugely important to the success of this role. The successful candidate will join a driven decision-making team who are proud of their achievements, enthusiastic about the growth of the business and motivated by standing out from the crowd in terms of delivery of an exceptional service to their clients within a demanding sector.

With their continued focus on both organic and acquisitive growth, our client is in a position to recruit their first Finance Director to manage the small internal finance team whilst supporting the growth of the business.
