IT Buyer

Permanent ⁄ £35000 - £40000

As the IT Buyer you will be responsible for:
• Sourcing and Procurement on both a Capex and project basis.
• You will be challenged to work across a number of different category areas and markets.
• Act as UK support, face and point of contact for European Group projects.
• Actions typically look at spend from low values (eg. £50K-100K) up to around £1 million
• The role will require managing / juggling a number of Projects at any one time
• Activities include dealing with internal users / IT technical managers to understand requirements, translate into tender documentation, identify suppliers, run tenders, evaluate proposals, make recommendations
•An aspect of this role will include tactical and strategic sourcing projects.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be :
• Educated to degree level - in a related Field
• CIPS qualified
• You will have a strong background in IT Procurement ideally covering software and IT services
• Spanish language would be a benefit.
