The Senior Buyer will have have responsibility for a wide array of products and servicessupporting a 24/7 multi site organisation. The spend profilemeasure in excess of £80m covering marketing, IT/IS, FM contracts, catering, consultancy,HR services...... The main issues initially will be to tackle stakeholder engagement and to gain an understanding of the influence on the current corporate spend.A strategy will need to be agreed with the purchasing manager and delivered by this role.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidates will have proven track record within a corporate spendenvironment. You will be able to demonstrate lead negotiation ability and clear understanding of what a cradle to grave procurement process should look like. You will be CIPS qualified (or working towards) withfirst class interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability of selling the value of procurement.
