An opportunity to take on a high profile roleat an exciting time for William Hill and their Financial Planning team. Incorporating interaction with senior management, you will need to be confident and able to challenge the senior management about commercial issues. The Financial Planning Analyst will produce periodic financial reporting of Retail business profitability, including the interpretation of the results. You will need to develop and exploit the Retail MI system and be the prime contact on all business analysis requests. Working closely with Retail Operations & Trading Directors, additional business analysis reports will need to be reported often on an ad-hoc basis. You will produce and co-ordinate the annual plan and quarterly reforecast for the Retail business; for example revenue & cost of sales.
This position will manage a team of two staff and is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to influence and be involved with the financial strategy of a very well known and successful business.
Who we're looking for
You must be;
• A Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Have strong commercial experience working for a large organization
• Able to manipulate large volumes of data
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Gravitas, as you will be exposed to senior management
• Pro-active with a can do attitude
• Strong excel skills
• Have relevant industry experience or within fast-moving, consumer facing organizations
• Strong presentation skills
