Our client is looking for a buyer to join a small team purchasing major components. The team is split into commodities and will have responsibility for 1.5 people. You will interact with suppliers and hold discussions around pricing, quality conformance and recharging. This also involves setting up of stock piles for major machine maintenance releases as well as maintaining efficient stock of raw materials to minimise obsolescence.
Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a buyer with experience in mechanical products ideally pressed/moulded components. You will have a proven track record in buying such commodities and be able to demonstrate price negotiations, interaction with quality team and some supervisory experience would be very beneficial. A high volume background would be advantageous.
