Reporting to the executive director, as communications manager you are responsible for maintaining IMI Awards' status as the preferred awarding body for the automotive sector through pro active communications. Building and managing the reputation of IMI Awards by devising and implementing the IMI Awards business and strategic plans. Promoting the products and services of IMI Awards by utilising a broad mix of communications tools including public and media relations, website, email campaigns, newsletters, promotional literature, direct marketing, advertising, exhibitions and events. Maintaining and monitoring IMI Awards' website. Identifying and obtaining sponsorship income through all appropriate means.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional marketing individual to further their career in a very well respected organisation.

Who we're looking for
Candidate should be educated to degree level in a public relations, media, marketing or equivalent discipline. A proven track record and understanding of marketing, communications and public relations, formulating and delivering marketing and business development strategy. Ability to identify and utilise PR opportunities, strong communication and creative writing skills. Strong presentation skills. A good knowledge of design, photography and publishing. Experience in campaign and event management.
