IT Quant - Risk Research and Development

IT Project work:
The majority of the team's work is project based. Due to the diversity and volume of the bank's trading activities, team members always work simultaneously on a variety of short, medium and long term projects. The team develops tools cross all asset classes; however candidates are expected to exhibit the intellectual desire to constantly expand their knowledge by taking on projects outside their area of specialise.
• Fast project scope analysis and definition.
• Insight and dedication to identify and focus on specific core deliverables
• Work to solve the problem in a timely and efficient manner
• Handover the resulting applications/ Solutions to the market risk managers
• Communicated results to the senior management, and other team members.
The team is encouraged to form good working relationships with Market Risk Managers to be able to provide suitable improvement and IT solutions. Identify improvements in current applications used by Market Risk managers and provide appropriate solutions.

Who we're looking for
• Educations:MSc in numerical, engineering or computer science related degree.
• Excellent IT Skills - including VB, VBA
• Good Mathematic skills
• Financial knowledge

Group overview - The primary mandate for Quantitative Risk Research & Development is to provide development of applications for the stress test analysis for model intensive trading portfolios as well as providing support for said applications for Market Risk Management. the team priorities are determined by the directors and Management team of Market Risk Management.
