SCOPE OF ROLE:
To work with Group Head Strategy and support the development and implementation of overall group strategy with a particular focus on certain international markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
•Developing the strategic agenda for the markets.
•Performing strategic due diligence for geographic markets
•Understanding market conditions and financial services industry drivers and their influence on the Bank to help conceive, develop and investigate specific strategy initiatives.
•Forging excellent working relationships with leadership teams to communicate strategy and gain buy in and resource to investigate key strategic projects.
•Producing detailed and considered recommendations on chosen strategic initiatives.
•Generating quick wins and longer-term plans for implementation of business strategy.
Who we're looking for
•Strategy house experience with Financial Services experience.
•MBA or equivalent from top business school preferred
•Experience working within a bank / financial institution preferred
•Proven capability of applying strategic analysis, and ability to manage projects and initiatives.
•Highly articulate with effective communication and presentation skills to instil confidence and credibility amongst senior-level audiences.
