Our clienthas recently launched an organization wide initiative to change the accounting and administration platform used to service all private equity clients. The foundation of this organizational change is based on the Investran application and its core functionality: investor relationship management, centralized portfolio and partnership accounting and reporting.
A global Investran team is being developed to lead the business during this transformation. This multi-phase initiative will include migration, system build-out, customizations, business development and client team support. The new Investran Migration team will be one subset of this global team and this role will require travel to other jurisdictions over the course of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Migration of fund administration and accounting data from various legacy systems and data sources to the Investran platform
• Support business teams in collating, reconciling and formatting source data from legacy systems in preparation for migration
• Work with business teams to resolve issues to obtain sign off of fund data in Investran
• Be main point of reference for business teams in the catch up process to allow funds to be live on Investran
• Work with business teams to fully understand client funds and reporting requirements to ensure successful transition to Investran
• Developing relationships and working closely with teams in a range of jurisdictions
Based ideally in Jersey, possibly London.
Who we're looking for
The candidate is likely to be a qualified or part qualified accountant with the appetite for challenge that this project brings. The candidate will need strong interpersonal skills to engage with the various business teams involved in the project. The candidate must also be able to work with minimum supervision, effectively manage workloads and meet deadlines. This is a great opportunity for someone to get involved in projects and Private Equity administration.
Knowledge / Skills Required:
Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other recognised accounting qualification
Previous book keeping and accounting experience is essential.
Experience in Private Equity is highly desirable.
Experience of Investran and of previous system migration
Based ideally in Jersey, possibly London.
