As Health & Safety Manager you will report to the Retail Operations Manager, and work very closely with the Property Department. With the choice of being based in either London or Swindon you will be responsible for supporting and proactively communicating and promoting Health, Safety and Security (HSSE) activities across the portfolio. Thus assisting the business in meeting its HSSE statutory requirements, making Head Offices, offices and centres a safe and secure environment in which to work and visit.
Who we're looking for
The successful Health & Safety Manager will reside within a commutable distance to either London or Swindon and;
• Be educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Have relevant H&S qualifications (NEBOSH diploma level or equivalent).
• Possess detailed knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Broad working knowledge of H&S and Security with large, complex operations, preferably the retail environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of H&S and Security strategy and policy development in a large, complex environment.
• Proven ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.
• Management level within a health and safety service including implementing new and creative solutions to maximise service performance.
• Demonstrable track record in leading and delivering projects, objectives and services within deadlines and to agreed targets/performance indicators.
• IT skills: Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
