Reporting to the London based European Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the European Finance Director and UK Managing Director in financial and commercial decision making
• Day to day management of UK finance department and reporting systems
• Leading the monthly management meeting with Department Heads
• Manage treasury operations and advise on funds for capacity investments
• Provide informed analysis and commentary of monthly and year-end close, P&L forecasts, Quarterly Business Reviews and other reports and ensure US reporting deadlines are met
• Act as Sales Business Manager with responsibility for finance liaison with the Sales Department
• Lead a number of projects including improving the scope and quality of management information to enable better decision making by Department Heads and budget holders and enhancing the internal controls to match the Company's growth.
• Co-ordinate the UK budget process with Department Heads
• Assist the European Finance Director in supporting other European Group companies
• Ensure compliance with all external reporting and filing

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting and proven staff management skills. A background in a Media/Agency environment, whilst not essential, would be advantageous, as would experience gained in an international business. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Knowledge of Peoplesoft, or similar ERP systems would be beneficial. There may be occasional international travel.
