MARKET ANALYSIS:
• Create and coordinate detailed individual market plans to identify market opportunities and potential
• Conduct regular reviews of market data and trends, and update plans accordingly
• Conduct research for new and existing products in liaison with US-based product development team, including:
• Qualitative marketing research such as focus groups
• Quantitative marketing research such as statistical surveys
• Experimental techniques such as test markets
• Observational techniques such as on-site observation

BUSINESS ANALYSIS:
• Provide analysis to demonstrate cost structure, cost position relative to competitors, core competencies, other competitively distinct company resources, profit by product line and customer accounts using:
• Quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools
• Research and produce business models for forecasting, product sales history, average sales, etc for various markets/countries.

CUSTOMER AND COLLABORATOR ANALYSIS:
• Produce customer analysis to demonstrate segmentation, geography, behaviours, needs - benefit and other factors
• Produce collaborator analysis for suppliers and distributors.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS:
• Produce detailed profiles of each competitor including a SWOT analysis, cost structure, source of profit, resources and competencies, competitive positioning and product differentiation, historical responses to industry developments and other factors through:
• Regular liaison with internal contacts
• Monitoring competitor websites and published documentation.
• Establishing and maintaining a network of contacts with distributors and suppliers.
• Attending trade shows and exhibitions to monitor competitor activity and products.
• Customer/site visits

Who we're looking for
You will have solid experience in market analysis and research. Previous experience of the healthcare and / or other European languages would be a bonus.
