Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, based in the North (home based with 1 day every two weeks in Manchester), you will need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of commercial success in growing an office fit out contracting business. You will be heavily involved in pricing and project management to ensure delivery of the agreed service whilst managing Senior Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors. The role itself would involve a degree of travel to nationwide projects and would have afully empowered role looking after the company's commercial and financial activities within the contract functions for a £10m budget. The role will require you to be extremely commercially astute and have several years experience of managing teams.
Who we're looking for
The successful Contracts Manager will needa commercial background ideally having managed budgets of circa £10m and will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience in Managing a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
• Good communicator who is confident dealing with the client as well as managing a team.
• Producing of accurate information for contribution forecasts, monthly cost/value reports, management accounts and on site progress.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative.
• Managing contract of multi-site office fit outs.

Amongst these are a peace of mind that their project will achieve a high quality snag free handover, as they will have managed the tightly programmed specialist finishing trades.
What's on offer
Basic salary £62, 000 - £65,000 plus exceptional bonus (3% of gross profit on each project), £9k car allowance, company pension & health care for family.
