As media officer youroverall objective will be towork alongside the Head of Media to raise the profile of the charity through the UK and the international media. You will proactively follow-up news releases and sell in stories to the media as well as contributing to providing a reactive 24 hour press office service, offering information, comment and analysis.You will play an instrumental role in expanding the regional media coverageas well as building the celebrity network and managing the current celebrity programme.

Who we're looking for
As Media Officer you will:
• Be familiar with the UK media
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be proactive in your approach
• Ideally have had exposure in a similar role within a similar organisation
• Be of graduate calibre
